This is the first stage of refreshing the premises for our client. In one area all walls, ceilings, doors, and door frames were prepared and given a fresh coat of paint and new colours.
We’ll be back to complete the final phase later in the year.
Due to movement, these cracks appeared over time both internally and externally. So we patched all the cracks and once dried we could sand them and paint.
We matched the existing paint and painted each wall with 2 coats.
We do a lot of these repairs. When a new bathroom door is initially installed the base is not always painted and so it is not moisture-proof. This can lead to the base of the door coming apart.
We remove the door and insert a new base then patch and paint and re-install. Comes up very nicely.
This ceiling, wall, and cornices had been damaged by a water leak from the unit above. So we swapped out the damaged ceiling gyprock, replaced some sections of cornice, and prepared and painted. Looks as good as new.
This paint and woodwork on this gable had deteriorated over the years. So we removed all the old wood and replaced it with cement sheet and painted with Weather Shield.
This client in the CBD has an outdoor bench which needed a refresh. We sanded it back, fixed up any imperfections and applied a couple of coats of timer stain.
Our client had an internal stained glass window which she had initially boarded up for privacy. We removed the window, inserted a section of gyprock and taped and plastered around the edge. Sanded back to ensure a flush, smooth finish and then applied paint.
Our client’s kid had pulled on the curtains resulting in one of the curtain brackets breaking away from the wall and leaving a hole in the gyprock. So we’ve cut out a square section and tidied up the edges, affixed a wood support in the background and then attached a gyprock cut-out to the support. We’ve applied tape around the edges and a coat of plaster. Once this has dried we can sand it back, apply paint then attach the curtain bracket in it’s original spot.
Besides painting work, we also do some general maintenance around the home. Here the guys have replaced the mesh in a wood-framed fly screen. It’s fiddly work and they take longer to repair than aluminium frames but the result always looks good.
A recent water leak in the roof had caused this client’s ceiling to be stained with water marks. Once the leak had been dealt with we were able to apply stain blocker and paint the ceiling so it looks as good as new.
